US-Taliban peace talks in doubt amid Afghan anger over office, flag
Wed Jun 19, 2013

Four U.S. service members killed in attack on Bagram Air Base
Tue Jun 18, 2013
We lost another war. The most powerful country in the history of the world. We lost this one, like the others, before it began. We had no intention of taking everything of value from these people and making their land part of ours. So it wasn't a war. We don't even really know what that word means a …

Transplant outrage has a solution: more organ donors
Sun Jun 9, 2013
One solution would be to give extra priority consideration to those people who registered as organ donors the earliest, before they got sick. Certainly there should be penalties for people who are asking but not willing to give.
Syria's Assad claims victory in major battle, rebels say they are being massacred
Wed Jun 5, 2013
While I can understand that President Obama cannot simply state, out loud, that it is in the United States' current best interests to encourage Syria to kill itself slowly, and we are not going to do anything to put our guys at risk, if the EU isn't all that concerned about this. Things are now at t …
McCain: Cannot give 'unqualified support' for women joining the military until crisis resolved
Tue Jun 4, 2013
McCain is really embarrassing everyone now. Can't they just give him a pretend microphone?
Questions & Answers
Do you think the Katy Perry video is too risque for 'Sesame Street'?
No
I don't believe that there ever were any real complaints. It's just a free publicity campaign for the show. Well done.
